Columbus Landmarks invites you to an exciting evening at the 1903 Municipal Light Plant as it undergoes a massive transformation and rebirth!

Saved from Most Endangered Building status, the city's coal-fired power plant is being transformed into an extraordinary commercial space where Garth's Auctioneer & Appraisers and other tenants will hang their shingles next year. Fifty-foot ceilings, a giant coal hopper, crane hooks, steel beams, brick walls, clerestory windows, and a 206-foot iconic smokestack are being retained to create a much desired, authentic industrial-style space.

Join us for this special preview event where you will be the first to experience the new energy of the raw historic interior with music from Arnett Howard & Friends, a live auction by Garth’s, an on-site art performance (live-drawing) by Hemu Venkataraman, construction tours, a satisfying summer spread featuring local craft beer, wine & food, and recognition of the people involved in this remarkable rehabilitation.
